Women empowerment cell has been constituted to empower and safeguard the rights of female students and staff of the college. The cell works for the welfare of the students and faculty members and to prepare them into competent professionals to take up greater challenges in the academic sphere. With the view of considering today’s challenging environment, the cell creates awareness in various fields such as legal awareness, health awareness etc. it provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest guideways to improve and empower themselves.

Aim and Objectives

  • In view of taking up women’s issues and problems the cell create awareness of the rights and duties by arranging various workshops and sensitization programs.
  • The focus of the cell is to eliminate the discrimination and all forms of violence against women and girl child in the Indian society.
  • The cell aims at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students
