Eco club has been constituted in 2020 under the mentoship / and of Sri R.V.Miskin is theConvener, Asst. Prof. Of Hindi.
Overview
The main aim of establishing the Eco Club was to conserve the natural resources,create Eco friendly environment and address among students through various innovative methods.
Eco club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation. The Main motive of the Eco Club is to nurture and teach the importance of environment to students.
Vision
PROMOTING STUDENT COMMUNITY TO BE A PART OF SOLUTION NOT POLLUTION. “Like music and art, love of nature is a common language that can transcend political or social boundaries.” Promoting Environment Culture / Awareness among students and be a part of solution to environmental issues.

“To be the best institution for protecting and creating environment awareness by educating the youth, offering programmes and resources for the students”.
Mission
- To maintain cleanliness in and around the campus.
- To motivate the students to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.
- To promote culture of conservation of water by minimizing the use of water.
- To inculcate proper attitude with regard to environment and its conservation through action-based programmes.
- To enhance students participation in protecting the micro environment.
- To implement efficient solid waste management.
- To reduce the use of plastic in the community.
- To forge ties with the community on ecological problems and conservation.

College Achievements: 2020-21
- On 1st March 2021 “National Science Day” was celebrated in association with Dept. of Botany and Zoology.The chief guest Prof. S. B. Goudar President of RUCTA & HOD of Physics B.V.V.S Science college Bagalkot and Dr.S. M. Gaonkarhod Secretary of RUCTA, IQAC Co-ordinator B.V.V.S College Bagalkot. The function was presided by Dr. M.S. Patil Principal.
- On 03rd March, 2021 “World Wildlife Day” was celebrated in association with Dept. of Botany and Zoology, Guest Shri. R.V. Jalawadi, HOD of Commerce.
- On 05th June, 2021 “World Environment Day” was celebrated, on this Occasion , Departments of Botany, Zoology and Eco-Club had Organized National Level E-Quiz Competition.
- On 28thJuly 2021 “World Nature Conservation Day” was celebrated in association with Botany and Zoology Departments.
- On 15th August, 2021 “Tree Plantation Program” was held.

Major Activities
The Eco Club along with NCC cadets and NSS volunteers of the college does its best efforts for a green campus.
- Organize seminars and special lectures on environmental issues in the College.
- Campaign against ban of carry bags, use of loud speakers, banned fireworks, recycling of glass and metals, filling of water body in the adjacent area, etc,.
- Organize rallies, marches, human chains at public places with a view to spread environmental awareness.
- Action based activities like tree plantation, cleanliness drives both within and outside the College campus.
- Beautifying selected road side area, public places like hospitals, government offices, places of worship, etc., with plants and put campaign boards to generate awareness.
- Plantation programme is undertaken at regular intervals through Eco-club and NSS in the college premises and also in the premises of certain Government offices, Hospitals, Temples and orphan houses.
